At preschool storytime, we sing songs and do action rhymes, read up to four stories, and play percussion instruments. Storytime is 30 - 45 minutes long and is designed for ages 3 and up.

FREE PRODUCE from local farms for anyone who needs it. Help yourself to what you need and leave the rest for others. Organized by the Merrymeeting Gleaners, a project of the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program. First come, first served, while supplies last. 

Baby & Me gives your child the opportunity to hear lots of language while you spend time bonding together! Program lasts about 15-20 minutes, and is designed for babies ages birth up to 23 months.

We supply the books and the pizza, you bring your opinions! Tween Reads is held on the second Thursday of the month at 5 pm from October through May.  Must be registered to attend.

Join us as we conclude the speaker series "Voices Fromand For the Land" with a presentation by Mihku Paul and James McCarthy.Both speakers will share stories about their relationship to the watershedswhere they live: for Mihku Paul, the Presumpscot River and Casco Bay; for JamesMcCarthy, it's Merrymeeting Bay and three of its rivers, the Androscoggin,Kennebec and Cathance.

The slideshow presentation will feature photographs from James McCarthy'songoing project of using ancestral Wabanaki place names to deepen hisunderstanding of places he chooses to photograph. Paul will offer herperspectives on those places based on her experiences as a Wolastoqey(Maliseet) artist, poet, and activist working to educate non-Native peopleabout the condition of Waponahki people in the Northeast.

Mihku Paul is a Maliseet poet, writer, artist, and activist, and a member ofKingsclear First Nation, N.B., Canada.

James McCarthy is a retired journalist whose career includes a 10-year stintas managing editor of The Times Record.
